Our take
Candlewood Suites Chatham South is a modern, kitchen-equipped stay that I would consider for a longer visit. Rated 9.6, but by only 9 guests, it has full kitchens, an indoor pool and hot tub, free Wi-Fi and parking, and welcomes pets. Match Eatery & Public House is two minutes on foot. The small sample calls for some caution on the score, though the facilities are clear.

- ✓Walk over to Cascades Casino Chatham for entertainment, it's just a few minutes from the hotel.
