Our take

I would book the Comfort Inn Corner Brook for a practical stay with dinner sorted: an on-site restaurant with regional cuisine, room service, rooms with cable TV and coffee makers, and a pet-friendly policy, rated 8.0 from 140 reviews. Skiers will be heading to Marble Mountain. Travellers wanting a pool or spa should look elsewhere, as leisure facilities are not part of the offer.

Why we love it

Direct ski-in-ski-out access to Marble Mountain
Pet-friendly accommodation for all travellers
On-site restaurant with regional cuisine
Convenient location near local attractions

Why guests love it
The on-site restaurant at the Comfort Inn Corner Brook serves regional cuisine, and room service is available, which I find a real help with tired children after a day out. Rooms have cable TV and a coffee maker, and pets are accepted, so the family dog can come. In winter, Marble Mountain Ski Hill is the main draw of the area. There is no pool mentioned, so plan activities outside the hotel.
