Days Inn by Wyndham Grande Prairie
Stovetop kitchenettes and full-day on-site security
About this stay
A stovetop is the detail that separates the kitchenettes here from the microwave-only setups at most nearby motels, giving guests a genuine option to cook rather than reheat. Rooms carry air-conditioning, private bathrooms with free toiletries and a work desk, and the fitness centre and lounge give the evening somewhere to go beyond the room. Full-day security alongside the 24-hour front desk stands out among the budget-tier hotels in Grande Prairie, useful for solo travellers or anyone leaving belongings behind for a day trip. The Grande Prairie Museum and the Grande Prairie Regional College both sit within easy reach, and the airport is thirteen kilometres out, further than most of the competition closer to the runway.

Our take
This suits self-catering travellers who want an actual stovetop rather than a microwave-only kitchenette, plus anyone who values full-day security over a shorter airport run. Guests needing to be close to Grande Prairie Airport should book the Delta Hotels or Hampton Inn instead, both sitting inside five kilometres of the runway.
- ✓Bring groceries for the stovetop kitchenette on arrival, it's a genuine cooking setup rather than a reheat-only option.
- ✓Budget extra transfer time for the thirteen-kilometre run to the airport, it's further out than most Grande Prairie hotels.
- ✓Ask about full-day security if leaving valuables in the room during a day trip, it's a real feature of this property.
