Westport Inn
A full kitchen and soundproofing near the airport
About this stay
A full kitchen in every room, refrigerator, microwave and kitchenware included, is the feature that separates this Westport Inn from the standard hotel rooms nearby, well suited to a stay that runs past a couple of nights. Soundproofing and parquet floors give the rooms a quieter, more residential feel than a typical motel, and the seating area alongside the work desk means the room doubles as a small living space rather than just somewhere to sleep. Daily housekeeping and free on-site private parking keep the practical side simple, and English-speaking reception staff handle questions without friction. Grande Prairie Airport sits four kilometres away, close enough for an easy transfer without needing an early start.
- Full kitchen
- Soundproofed rooms
- Free private parking
- Daily housekeeping
Our take
This suits self-catering travellers on a multi-night stay who want a full kitchen and a quieter room over hotel amenities like a pool or restaurant. Guests wanting an indoor pool or on-site dining should look at the Holiday Inn & Suites or Sandman Hotel instead, since neither is part of this property.
- ✓Bring groceries in on arrival day, the full kitchen setup makes a self-catered stay genuinely practical here.
- ✓Ask for a room away from the parking area if traffic noise is a concern, despite the soundproofing already in place.
- ✓Confirm the free on-site private parking spot at check-in, it's a real convenience for the four-kilometre airport run.
Why we love it
- A genuinely full kitchen, not a kitchenette
