Our take
Spencer Hotel & Conference Centre is the London, Ontario, hotel I would choose for space and greenery. The 30 acres of parkland with walking and cycling trails, a spa with hot tub and sauna, and several places to eat on site make it easy to stay put. Pets are accepted, which suits dog owners. It is a conference venue too, so expect business groups on some dates, and a drive to reach downtown.
