This is a working hotel more than a leisure one, positioned near the Dieppe and Moncton industrial parks for guests with business on that side of the city rather than a downtown itinerary. The 2013 renovation shows in fresher rooms than the exterior suggests, and the free hot breakfast, eggs, bacon, waffles, cereals, covers an early start without a restaurant run. BBQ facilities on site are a small but real perk in summer for guests staying multiple nights who would rather cook than eat out every meal. Winter strips away most of the outdoor appeal, leaving the breakfast and the price as the honest reasons to book. Guests without a car should plan around that reality, since neither Main Street nor the Petitcodiac waterfront is a realistic walk from here.
