Our take
I would book Four Points by Sheraton Windsor Downtown for a central stay one block from the Detroit Windsor Tunnel. The indoor pool, the spa and wellness centre and a restaurant on site cover the essentials, rooms are contemporary with a coffee maker, and pets are welcome. Its urban setting means more noise than a suburban hotel. A 7.9 from 226 reviews is fair rather than outstanding.
- ✓If you're travelling with a pet, confirm the pet policy and any associated fees when booking your stay.
- ✓Take advantage of the indoor pool and spa facilities to relax after a day of exploring downtown Windsor.
- ✓Consider dining at Fionn MacCool's on-site restaurant for a convenient meal without leaving the hotel.
