Our take
I would book reStays Ottawa for a central, self-catering stay in the capital: Parliament Hill and the Rideau Locks are a short walk away, and the kitchenettes cut down on restaurant meals. The games room, sauna, fitness centre and terrace add more than most apartment stays offer. Expect an apartment format rather than a full-service hotel; the 8.8 score suggests that works well for most guests.
- ✓Take advantage of the kitchenette to prepare some meals and save on dining out.
- ✓Explore the nearby Parliament Hill and Rideau Locks, they are just a short walk away.
- ✓Use the sauna after a day of sightseeing.
